About Me

I am a Visiting Assistant Professor in the  Mathematics and Statistics Department  at  Swarthmore College.

In August 2016, I received my PhD in  Mathematics  from the  University of Pittsburgh  under the direction of
Jonathan Rubin . My research interests address problems in graph theory (network science), stochastic processes, dynamical systems and their applications to epidemiology, neuroscience and internet routing. You are more than welcome to email me at  dburste1*at*swarthmore*dot*edu.
